Our Story

Fox Valley Physical Therapy is a local family business founded by physical therapists Mary and Chris Kelly in 2010. The Kellys wanted to focus on providing comprehensive physical therapy services for adults and children in the Fox Valley. We began in a 3,000 square foot space with only Chris and Mary as therapists.

Since then, we’ve committed to providing types of care you won’t find in other physical therapy and wellness practices in the area. That commitment has enabled us to grow into our current 3,800 square foot facility. Our staff of dedicated physical therapists and wellness professionals also continues to grow.

Our Mission

It’s always been our mission to help people of all ages – from infants to seniors – live free of pain and discomfort. People of all ages appreciate our individualized approach to physical therapy. We won’t just treat the obvious symptoms. While some of our competitors use a “cookie cutter” approach, we pride ourselves on spending time with our clients to determine and treat the root cause of their symptoms. We designed our practice to enable us to give you the time and attention you deserve. You will always be the focus of our attention when you’re here.

Beyond treatment, we believe in educating our clients. We’re not just here to treat you, we want to truly change your life. At Fox Valley Physical Therapy and Wellness, we believe that the best way to live an active, healthy life is to prevent injury from ever happening. In that effort, we focus on preventative, supportive techniques in our rehabilitation process.

Our Team

The staff at Fox Valley Physical Therapy and Wellness includes some of the area’s most experienced wellness professionals. Our physical therapists continually strive to expand their knowledge through seminars, research and ongoing coursework.

We’re also a teaching facility. We invite experienced guest clinicians to our site to provide education for our team. It’s important to us that new physical therapists and wellness professionals see the difference individualized care can make. Because of that, we provide hands-on mentoring to local university students.

Our Network

We believe relationships are important. Your health and wellness depend on a wide network of people. Because of that, we collaborate with doctors, families, caregivers and school personnel to develop and implement individualized care plans.

• Whether you come to us with a doctor referral or not, we make sure your physician stays in the loop.
• Because you can’t always be with your child, we make sure school staff are aware of his or her therapy plan. They are usually a great help in making sure kids keep up with their program when possible.
• Our clients often need care from someone outside their family. Whether it’s child care, elder care or help for someone with a disability, we’ll make sure they’re on board with your loved one’s care plan.

Therapy at Fox Valley Physical Therapy is a worthwhile investment in your health and well-being. Most of our clients find their insurance covers their evaluation and treatments. Even if you don’t have insurance coverage, you’ll find the path to wellness and the life you want to live is probably more affordable than you think. Give us a call or contact us to learn more.
